Valuation Analyst for Core Operations

Join Capital Group as a Core Operations Valuation Analyst.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in facilitating our daily valuation processes, concentrating on fair valuation and challenging-to-value assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive valuation assessments and developing, maintaining, and reviewing financial models and methodologies (such as discounted cash flow and market approach analyses) in alignment with all pertinent global regulatory and accounting standards.
Your contributions will include:
- Performing detailed valuations on private equity, private credit, and other level 3 assets, drawing on a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Creating robust financial models and methodologies applicable across a variety of companies, including discounted cash flow, market approach, and option pricing models.
- Exhibiting strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate company financial statements and assess the impact of industry or market developments on fair value.
- Demonstrating knowledge of SEC rules 2a-5 and 22e-4, along with AICPA valuation guidance.
- Effectively communicating complex ideas and processes to diverse audiences, including senior business leaders and oversight committees.
- Delivering exceptional quality and meticulous attention to detail in all work outputs.
- Mentoring colleagues and serving as a role model, providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Navigating ambiguous and complex situations with clarity and sound judgment, driving towards effective outcomes.
- Thriving under pressure and meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Having an active CPA designation and/or a minimum of CFA level 1 is preferred, though not mandatory.
Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $95,066 to $152,106. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, along with Capital's annual profitability bonus and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
