Nutrition Specialist

Lebanon Nursing & Rehab is in search of a Full-Time Clinical Dietitian This role operates Monday through Friday. Within the nursing facility, the Dietitian is accountable for comprehensive patient/resident nutrition, quality assurance, dietary adjustments, nutrition care strategies, and thorough documentation.

Position Highlights:
*Advise the Nursing Home Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Food Service Director on all clinical aspects of nutrition care, adhering to standards set by regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
*Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create nutrition care plans for residents/patients.
*Monitor and assess the effectiveness of nutritional interventions.
*Ensure timely and accurate documentation of nutrition assessment tools, recommended interventions, and follow-ups.
*Address relevant nutrition concerns with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
*Provide dietary guidance and education for residents/patients, families, and/or caregivers.
*Oversee all facets of the nutrition care delivery process to ensure clinical excellence.
Qualifications:

*Registered and/or licensed Dietitian, as mandated by state regulations. *Previous experience in a healthcare environment or as a consulting dietitian is preferred. *Experience with the geriatric population is advantageous.
