Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures with a high level of technical expertise and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures, utilizing advanced imaging technologies to capture high-quality images and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in the field.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable and respectful experience for all patients.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • Registered ARRT or ARDMS certification, with a strong foundation in ultrasound technology and patient care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
