Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Employee Center & SPM modules. They will also possess expertise in ServiceNow scripting languages, including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business and technical stakeholders. They will be able to lead problem-solving efforts during mission-critical system interruptions and provide high-level estimations for project tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and modules, ensuring alignment with best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Configure and enhance ServiceNow platform elements such as workflows, UI components, client scripts, business rules, catalog items, integrations, and orchestration.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements, providing solutions that align with business objectives and platform capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, functionality, and security issues across ServiceNow applications and modules, implementing preventive measures.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of quality and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Employee Center & SPM modules.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow scripting languages, including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification desired but not essential.
  • Proven ability to lead problem-solving efforts during mission-critical system interruptions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business and technical stakeholders.
