Candidate Profile

We are looking for self-motivated, organized, and compassionate professionals who are eager to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. A valid PTA license in good standing in Arkansas is required. While we prefer candidates with 2-3 years of experience, we are open to mentoring those who may have less experience but demonstrate the right qualities. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement care plans and interventions competently and effectively.
  • Guide and educate patients on exercise routines.
  • Recognize individual patient needs and provide empathetic support.
  • Suggest treatment options and modifications to ensure patient progress and safety.
  • Utilize current research to enhance patient function and prevent injuries.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services provided.
  • Conduct data collection and ensure precise information is recorded.
  • Monitor patient performance and update medical records accordingly.
  • Engage in patient status evaluations.
  • Participate in regular team meetings.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in practice.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and knowledge enhancement.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a physical therapist assistant.
  • Strong understanding of physiological practices and standards.
  • Practical experience with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
  • Effective communication and instructional skills.
  • Proficient in healthcare documentation and administration.
  • Valid license or relevant certification to practice.
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.
  • Preferred experience of at least 1 year in a similar role.
  • CPR Certification is a plus.
  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred.
