We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our medical team at Concentra. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical policies and programs at our center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare to our patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and lead by example to create an exceptional patient experience.
- Ensure day-to-day execution of medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
- Monitor key clinical center metrics, including quality outcomes, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
- Manage clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with APC supervisory requirements.
- Foster a collaborative working environment that promotes teamwork, quality, and patient safety.
- Work with the Director of Medical Operations to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement.
- Master the use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent documentation, and optimal coding levels.
- Ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations.
- Drive patient and client experience metrics.
- Communicate effectively with employers on new injuries and significant clinical changes.
- Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O.
- Board certification by ABPM, ABFM, or medical board in the state where employed.
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
- ACLS certification, preferred.
- Five to eight years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
- Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative, and Flexibility.
- Ability to make decisions or solve problems using logic and critical thinking.
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to deal with people in a professional manner.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements, clinical operations, OSHA, and DOT.

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $235,000 to $255,000, depending on job-related factors. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcome applications from qualified candidates.
