A successful candidate should have a solid track record in outside sales within this industry and come equipped with existing connections and a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new client opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging in-person presentations to showcase the advantages of our products and services.
- Contract Negotiation: Effectively negotiate terms and conditions to secure sales agreements.
- Client Follow-Up: Maintain consistent communication with potential clients to advance the sales process.
- Relationship Building: Regularly visit clients to enhance relationships, comprehend their requirements, and offer tailored solutions.
- Customer Support: Deliver exceptional service to clients, promptly addressing any inquiries or issues.
- Account Management: Oversee existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional sales.
- Territory Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic plan for the designated sales territory to optimize revenue generation.
- Market Research: Evaluate market trends and competitor actions to uncover new opportunities and potential challenges.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including forecasts and performance metrics.
- CRM Utilization: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities within the company's CRM system.
- Demonstrated experience in outside sales or a comparable role, ideally within the granite, countertop, tile, or cabinetry sectors.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to establish rapport and trust with clients.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close sales effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Base salary plus commission potential up to $180K
