To excel in this role, you should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to foster community and connection among students. A genuine passion for health and wellness, combined with a solid understanding of human anatomy and physiology, will contribute to your success as an instructor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and conduct engaging yoga classes.
  • Assess students visually to gauge their practice levels.
  • Assist students in achieving correct alignment during poses.
  • Demonstrate various practices and techniques effectively.
  • Facilitate the movement of energy throughout the body.
  • Guide students through warm-up, build-up, and cool-down phases.
  • Encourage and motivate students with positive reinforcement.
  • Create a connection with students through thoughtful and enjoyable sequencing.
  • Provide training recommendations to enhance yoga practice.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Certification from Yoga Alliance.
  • A minimum of 500 hours of teaching experience.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Background in health and fitness is preferred.
  • Proficiency in teaching Vinyasa Flow.
  • Understanding of the Chakra System, Pranayama, mantra, and mindful meditation.
  • Strong business and administrative skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
