Job Title: Front Desk Agent

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Morgantown. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless stay experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and handle check-out procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Room Assignments: Verify room availability and assign rooms to guests based on their preferences and hotel policies.
  3. Guest Services: Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
  4. Communication: Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain open communication with guests and hotel staff.
  5. Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with guests and hotel staff.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and a high level of customer interaction. The Front Desk Agent must be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
