Concrete Finisher

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team at Barriere Construction, a CRH Company.

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for preparing, smoothing, and finishing surfaces of poured concrete roads and parking lots. This includes leveling concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, smoothing and shaping surfaces of freshly poured concrete, and producing rough concrete surfaces with a broom.

• Prepare surfaces for concrete finishing by cleaning and repairing any defects
• Apply concrete finishes to achieve a smooth, even surface
• Use specialized equipment to shape and smooth concrete surfaces
• Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using powder grinders or chisels
• Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 2-3 years of experience in form setting and concrete finishing
• Must have a TWIC Card and Basic Plus certification
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions such as cold, heat, and humidity
• Maximum unassisted lift requirement is 51 pounds
• Must observe all safety protocols
