We are seeking a skilled Lifeguard to join our team at Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for supervising swimming activities at our facility pool, ensuring that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise swimming activities and enforce pool regulations and water safety policies.
- Administer first aid in the event of injury, rescue swimmers in distress, and administer CPR and/or artificial respiration if necessary.
- Evaluate conditions for safety and inspect pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure they are safe and usable.
- Be trained as a Mental Health Technician.
- Lifeguard certification is required.
- High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
- Experience in a psychiatric setting is preferred.
- Patient care experience is preferred.
