Senior Anesthesiology Specialist

Clinical Role:

As a CRNA in our hospital-employed position, you will have the opportunity to practice at a single location with a flexible schedule. Our dedicated anesthesia technicians will assist with room turnover, and we utilize the Epic EMR system. Our case mix includes Ortho, OB, Urology, Neuro, CT Surgery, Cath Lab, and General cases. You will be part of a collegial environment with dedicated administrative and clinical team leadership.

Organization:

We offer a sign-on bonus and educational stipend options, as well as PSLF eligibility. You will receive additional compensation for call and commencement payment on the first day of practice. We also offer 12 free CEU's per year, annual CME and professional dues allowances, and paid malpractice with tail coverage. Our hospital serves over 600,000 in a 75-mile radius and has 22 ORs with 2 endovascular suites and open-heart surgery suites. We have interventional cardiology, EP and radiology labs, lithotripsy, 3 MRIs (1 a 3-T), 3 CTs including a fixed 64 slice CT and PET Scanner. Our 24/7 Neurosurgery coverage includes employed neurosurgeons and a fellowship-trained neuroendovascular interventionalist. We have 56 total ICU beds with a 14-bed CVICU/progressive care unit and a Medical Hospitalist program providing ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers, and inpatient consults. Our 28-bed inpatient psychiatric program and Level 2 trauma center staffed by EM residency-trained physicians demonstrate our commitment to providing high-quality care. We are one of three Comprehensive Stroke Centers in Alabama with a dedicated lab for neuroendovascular procedures and open-heart surgery suites. Our Pain Management services are provided through OPT services on SEH campus. We also have accredited Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residency programs and are home to the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM).
