About the Job: This full-time position is eligible for variable pay and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a forward-thinking organization. As a Clinical Pharmacist at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, you will actively lead or participate in the strategic planning, development, and implementation of clinically appropriate and cost-effective programs to help control trend and drive positive clinical outcomes. Your Day-to-Day tasks will include collaborating with other business areas to effectively implement and support ongoing maintenance of clinical strategies, providing ongoing evaluation of clinical programs and initiatives, serving as the Subject Matter Expert and primary point of contact for formulary and clinical programs, and supporting corporate innovation initiatives with external partners as needed.

About You: To succeed in this role, you should have a deep understanding of managed care and pharmaceuticals, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A professional Registered Pharmacist degree, unrestricted current and valid license to practice pharmacy in the state of Massachusetts, and experience in a managed care setting are required. A graduate degree in business, public health, or health policy will be favorably considered. Additionally, you should have 2-5 years of prior pharmacy management experience. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $130,000-$150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
