Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric ER Nurse to join our team at Williamson Health, a leading healthcare system in Franklin, Tennessee. As a key member of our pediatric emergency department, you will provide exceptional care to children experiencing acute illnesses or injuries.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients quickly to identify their needs and prioritize care based on severity
  • Implement life-saving interventions and work closely with our board-certified pediatric emergency room physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and child life specialist
  • Provide family-centered care, explaining treatment plans and procedures to patients and their families, offering emotional support and reassurance
  • Maintain hospital and unit specific competencies, collaborating with the pediatric acute care team to coordinate transition of care for admitted patients
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of pediatric emergency experience preferred
  • Courses offered through the hospital and required within 6 months of hire: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
