Job Summary

Victor Community Support Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing quality clinical treatment and case management for children and adolescents with special mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the need for mental health services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessed areas of need and strengths.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress on identified goals and make adjustments as needed.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner and maintain accurate treatment records.
  • Act as a liaison between the program and family/community agencies, including parents/caregivers, case managers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling based on client needs.
  • Meet Agency service percentage standards and complete other assigned program operational tasks.
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in a field of behavioral science from an accredited educational institution.
  • Valid California driver's license, personal automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets Agency standards.
  • Physical and mental fitness to perform job duties, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
  • Ability to work in a residential, office, or outdoor environment and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Flexibility to work with diverse populations and maintain a culturally sensitive approach.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a MediCal certified site and familiarity with MediCal service standards.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and their families in a mental health setting.
  • Fluency in regional threshold languages spoken by the population served.
