About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Labor and Delivery team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients and their families during this significant life event.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
