Job Title: Material Handler - Shipping

Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler - Shipping to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Material Handler - Shipping will be responsible for processing customer orders and distribution centers accurately and on time. This role requires excellent organizational and documentation skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer orders and fill distribution centers accurately and on time
  • Compile, organize, and prepare all orders as directed by the Shipping Supervisor
  • Operate a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and deliver materials to their target location
  • Operate forklifts, lift trucks, side loaders, pallet trucks, and other loading/stacking equipment
  • Perform daily inspections of forklifts and maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform on-spot checking and maintain warehouse storage, including pallet consolidation and aisle cleanliness
  • Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner, in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of experience in Material Handling, Warehouse, and/or related field
