Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Produce high-quality images by adjusting equipment settings, using proper technique, and following established protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images, reports, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of recent hospital experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or Radiologic Technologist.
- Current certification in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Ability to start within 2-4 weeks and commit to a 13-week assignment.
- Flexibility to work 36 hours per week, including 12-hour shifts, days.
Benefits:
- Competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
