Position Overview:
As a Lead Technician for Test Bench Operations, you will:

  • Exhibit expertise in the upkeep and repair of production machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinate daily tasks with planners and production teams, ensuring necessary materials and equipment are prepared.
  • Supervise Predictive Maintenance (PM) to enhance safety and maximize equipment uptime.
  • Assess spare parts needs and propose recommendations for equipment and process enhancements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance based on supervisory directives while fulfilling additional assigned responsibilities.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulations set forth by the company and governmental agencies.
  • Manage documentation processes within the Maintenance Operating System (MOS) in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Deliver precise information and feedback to planners and supervisors regarding assigned tasks.
  • Identify machine and process components using OEM Service Drawings, catalogs, and visual recognition.
  • Fabricate and repair machine components within the Maintenance Campus Area.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify mechanical failures.
  • Evaluate and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
  • Utilize Controller/HMI Functions to retrieve error messages to assist in job functions.
  • Become well-versed in all oils, coolants, and greases associated with the equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment, engaging with employees at all levels.
  • Complete all necessary duties, documentation, and communication during shift transitions.
  • Uphold housekeeping standards in the work area, including 5S practices.
  • Operate equipment within all specified parameters in the designated work area.
  • Comply with IATF and ISO 14000 standards.
  • Contribute to the improvement and adherence to the company's corporate principles.

Your Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • An Associate Degree.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and guiding other technicians.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities.
  • Experience in interpreting blueprints and machining components with high tolerances.
  • Basic mathematical and reading proficiency.
  • Experience and expertise in the basic construction of related equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and calibrate machine drive and feedback systems.
  • Capability to interact with customers or suppliers and train on-site technicians.
  • Availability to work 2nd shift and rotating weekends.
