We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Woodstown, New Jersey. As a member of a collaborative team, you will work with children of all ages, providing services that help restore and maintain their physical functions.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist for this school district, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, building and executing effective treatment plans, and educating students to reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the district as a member of a collaborative team to help students restore and maintain their physical functions.
  • Screen and evaluate students referred to Physical Therapy treatment.
  • Apropriately collect data, report findings.
  • Diagnose movement dysfunction and create personalized treatment plans to help patients reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.
  • Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and billing per district and state standards.
  • Participate on a collaborative team and maintain clear communication with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student treatment.
Qualifications

We require a Physical Therapist with a strong background in school rehabilitation and experience working with children of all ages. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NJ DOE Cert
  • NJ License
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates who have:

  • Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
  • Passed the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
  • Active Physical Therapy (PT) license in NJ
  • Clear, articulate communication skills
  • Ability to explain results to a varied audience
  • Candidates with previous school experience a plus
  • Completion of a criminal record and background check
