The CoxHealth Biomedical Equipment Technician will be responsible for maintaining the operational condition, maintenance, and repair of clinical equipment. This individual will document repairs, perform safety checks, and implement preventive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on clinical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Document all repairs, maintenance, and safety checks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct safety checks and implement preventive measures to prevent equipment failures and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to identify equipment needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer's service and operator manuals, as well as other relevant documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field or completion of Military Biomedical training program.
  • Five years of Biomed experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
