Make a Difference with US Renal CareAs a Patient Care Technician at US Renal Care, you'll be an integral part of a cross-functional team providing care and delegated activities of treatment to patients. You'll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse for patients with renal failure.
Responsibilities:- Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment to patients
- Initiate treatment, monitor patients during treatment, and terminate treatment
- Collect patient blood samples per physician orders
- Ensure quality comes first by preparing machines for hemodialysis treatments, cleaning and disinfecting machines after treatment, and conducting machine safety checks and logging results for quality control
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Desire to work in healthcare and care for others
- Healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
