About the Role

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is a leading provider of dialysis services, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional outcomes. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in infection control and risk management activities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
  • Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan, providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment, ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.
  • Insert and remove patient access needles, maintaining aseptic technique and patient comfort.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the charge nurse.
  • Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight, ensuring accurate and effective treatment.
  • Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights, and adhering to confidentiality protocols.
  • Track and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate and timely ordering of supplies.
  • Perform laboratory work, as required, to support patient care and treatment.
