Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient processing of radioactive waste in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of operational procedures and be able to troubleshoot and correct errors in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate process equipment and perform waste processing tasks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain facility systems, including waste tracking and labeling.
  • Collaborate with other department personnel to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Environmental Compliance Procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and practice proper lifting techniques.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures and withstand industrial conditions.
  • Valid radiological safety training and hazardous materials training.
  • Ability to wear respiratory protection and pass a fit test.
