Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Technician to join our team at AAA USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding all types of metals, designing, fabricating, and repairing equipment and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and install welding equipment.
  • Execute welding on gas turbine components as per technical specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks on performed work.
  • Prepare and confirm quality documentation.
  • Report used production time per production step.
  • Collaborate with engineering staff to set up welding parameters and prepare work pieces for new welding process trials.
  • Design and fabricate welding fixtures, chill blocks, and purge boxes as required.
  • Report technical deviations using the Non-Conformance Reporting System.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and tools.
  • Ensure a clean and proper working environment and machines.
  • Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
  • Continuously improve operations and the working environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience with TIG welding.
  • 3+ years of experience in a production or maintenance environment.
  • 1+ years of experience with welding of Ni-base or Ni-Cr alloys.
  • Experience in carrying out visual inspections of welds.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Certified in welding (TIG & MIG) or equivalent years of experience.
  • Completion of EHS-assigned regulatory training for the work area as described by PSM's EHS Training Matrix.
