Key Responsibilities:
As a Labor & Employment Attorney (Plaintiff), your duties will include:
- Representing clients in a variety of labor and employment issues, such as discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and wage disputes.
- Conducting thorough legal research and drafting essential legal documents including pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Overseeing all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial.
- Providing expert legal counsel on labor and employment law matters.
- Collaborating with fellow attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management.
- Keeping abreast of the latest trends and changes in labor and employment legislation.
- Formulating strategies to achieve favorable resolutions for clients.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active admission to the state bar.
- 5-12 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a strong emphasis on plaintiff representation.
- Proven litigation expertise, handling cases from inception through resolution.
- Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to ethical standards.
