Job Summary:

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a skilled Clinical Unit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare administration, you will be responsible for the daily management of assigned units, including staff supervision and development, planning, budget, quality, and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily unit activities to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, social work, and other department staff to promote integrated, effective care.
  • Serve as patient advocate, follow up on patient care issues and outcomes, oversee/arrange discharge support.
  • Select, train, supervise, motivate, and evaluate assigned staff.

Requirements:

  • BSN Degree or MSN Degree from an accredited Professional School of Nursing.
  • Current/Valid State of TX RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing, or valid Compact RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical registered nursed experience in Labor and Delivery in the last 4 years.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role, above charge nurse in a hospital setting.

Estimated Salary Range:$70,000 - $90,000 per year
