A prestigious national law firm, recognized for its AV rating, is actively seeking a seasoned Employment Litigation Attorney with at least 8 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in PAGA, class actions, and wage and hour laws, and will be adept at managing a diverse caseload.

Position Overview


The Labor and Employment practice encompasses various areas, including employment discrimination, workplace harassment, and wage and hour defense, as well as traditional labor law issues. Candidates must have experience with PAGA, class actions, and wage and hour cases, and should be comfortable managing a full caseload.


Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of litigation experience in defending federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions.
  • Experience with investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor, California Department of Industrial Relations, California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, EEOC, and other relevant agencies.
  • Familiarity with matters before the National Labor Relations Board related to union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, union elections, and arbitrations.
  • Proven experience in handling employment litigation in both federal and state courts.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice in California.
