Nurse ICU Step Down

As a Registered Nurse in our High Intensity Care Unit (HICU), you will provide safe and effective patient care to patients with complex medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, and provide education to patients and families. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

• Provide direct patient care to patients with complex medical conditions
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes

• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• 2+ years of experience in critical care nursing
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
• Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
