Job Title: Project Engineer Assembly Operations

Job Summary:

Sevenson Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support environmental construction projects in Seattle, Washington. The selected individual will be responsible for project execution, including heavy civil construction, installation of earth retention systems, and dredging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily material delivery tracking and various construction production logs
  • Quality control of ongoing construction work in accordance with the project construction drawings and specifications
  • Coordination of site deliveries with field personnel
  • Procurement of materials, equipment rentals, and professional services
  • Project scheduling
  • Project accounting and cost tracking / financial management
  • Writing Purchase Orders for various material purchases, equipment rentals, and subcontracts
  • Coordination of various work tasks with site supervision
  • Participation in weekly meetings with the project stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or applicable science or business degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 5 years previous construction or engineering/consulting industry experience supporting construction or related Project Management experience
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Knowledge or prior use of MS Project a plus
  • Knowledge or prior use of AutoCAD software a plus but not required
