Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments, and perform technical procedures in accordance with UTHSCT policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • Current RN license or compact RN license to practice in Texas.
  • Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Specialty certification in Oncology Nursing preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in oncology nursing, preferably in a clinic setting.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
