**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our Smart Packaging Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for our customers' technical implementation and maintenance of automation systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Safety and Compliance**: Follow all customer and Grantek safety rules and GMP rules and regulations.
  • **Automation System Implementation**: Provide services including configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting, both onsite and remote.
  • **Technical Documentation**: Read diagrams and technical documentation such as schematic, manuals, standards, and codes.
  • **Collaboration**: Engage with electrical and mechanical installers, connect to PLC's and cameras for onsite configuration and verification, execute I/O checks, tune/focus/re-align camera systems, and work in collaboration with the Engineering team for all projects.
  • **Training and Development**: Train customer operators and maintenance personnel, identify process improvement opportunities, and offer mechanical installation guidance and adjustments, troubleshooting for software and electrical issues.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • 2-3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Possesses at least one of the following or is working towards achieving: EET diploma or Mechatronics diploma/AS degree.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Have full-time access to a personal vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% throughout the United States.
