Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Inpatient General Surgery Registered Nurse RN to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital. As a General Surgery Registered Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to adult patients hospitalized with a variety of conditions, including surgeries and trauma. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in educational activities to maintain competence and gain new knowledge
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS & ACLS certification
