Job Title: Senior Employment Law Attorney II

Gravis Law, PLLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Employment Law Attorney II to join our team. As a Senior Attorney II, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients in employment law matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in employment law matters
  • Conduct research and analysis on complex legal issues
  • Write memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documents
  • Market your and the firm's services to prospective clients
  • Perform discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigation
  • Perform due diligence in all matters
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills, including competence in empathetic listening
  • Manage a schedule to allow for consults and closure of consults to sufficiently reach production/collection objectives
  • Closing consults within Gravis range of 30-50% depending on practice area
  • Timely approval of invoices is critical to the health of the business on a month-to-month basis
Requirements:
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent legal research skills
  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
  • Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice
  • 5+ years of experience as an attorney
Work Environment:

Duties will be performed in a standard office environment. Employees must have the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Gravis policy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be required to work weekends, holidays, be on call, and some employees could be required to travel overnight on occasion.
