As a CDL-A Driver/Rigger, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor & trailer rigs to transport equipment and crews to job sites, handling loads, securing loads, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring the safety of workers and materials.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A or B CDL, basic knowledge of operating equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and platforms, and the ability to perform general physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials up to 50 pounds.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
  • Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.
  • Operate vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor trailers, telehandlers, aerial boom lifts, etc.
  • Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches according to load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules.
