Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff members, including Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
  • Lead by example, maintaining consistent accountability for direct reports, training, and coaching, and ensuring adherence to PF's values and goals.
  • Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and employee relations, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, ensuring the front desk area and lobby are clean and orderly, and participating in regular facility cleaning and upkeep.
  • Manage marketing efforts, ensuring staff is aware and trained on all marketing promotions, and authorizing expenditures and refunds as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma/GED equivalent, and have a passion for fitness and health.
  • One to three years of experience in a management role, preferably in the fitness or similar industry.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills, with the ability to learn systems quickly.
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills, with a hard-working, enthusiastic, and energetic management style.
  • Organization, problem-solving, and planning skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
  • Continual standing and walking.
  • Continual talking and listening in person or on the phone.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, crouch, and reach on a daily basis.
