HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our team at Northwell Health. As an HVAC Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing senior functions in our air conditioning shop, including control of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and automated alarm systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including alteration and construction work.
• Assist in maintaining all air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and ventilating systems in the Hospital.
• Conduct periodic maintenance work on all equipment in the Air Conditioning Shop.
• Install new or upgraded equipment, and coordinate installations made with other trades.
• Perform emergency repairs and respond to emergency situations.
• Demonstrate efficiency in the use of tools, hand and power, and maintain and handle tools in a safe and proper manner.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
