We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mammography Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mammography services to our patients.
Responsibilities- Operate mammography equipment and perform various procedures to produce high-quality images.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
- Explain procedures and educate patients on the importance of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
- Develop and evaluate images for technical quality, following radiation safety guidelines.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology and Mammography.
- Completion of a 40-hour mammography training course and 25 supervised mammography studies within 3 months of hire date.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree.
