Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of our construction team, including labor, materials, equipment, and schedule, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Ensure that all job sites are clean and safe at all times, adhering to industry and company standards.
  • Supervise and manage crew members, providing training and guidance as needed to ensure that all team members are equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Ensure that all installation work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards, and that all equipment is used safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
  • Interact with clients to ensure job satisfaction and to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Report for duty at the designated location on time each day, and follow directions from supervisors.
  • Ensure that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Train crew members in the best practices of installation, as required by company standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training, education, and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and to enhance job performance.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in landscape construction, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Proficient in operating heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, mini-excavators, and skid-steer machinery, with various attachments.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding construction plans.
  • Knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
  • Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees, including identification and cultural requirements.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and good time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task, with a clean and professional appearance.
