We are currently in search of a highly proficient Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis with a strong background in global aerospace distribution within the hardware domain. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, strategic insight, and outstanding communication abilities. This position is pivotal in enhancing financial performance, delivering insightful analyses, and facilitating strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the FP&A function, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the global aerospace distribution segment within the hardware sector.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate long-term strategic plans and financial goals for the hardware segment, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching objectives.
- Generate and present precise and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, emphasizing key performance indicators and insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering financial insights, analyses, and recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making and enhance business performance.
- Identify avenues for cost reduction and efficiency enhancements within the hardware sector's distribution operations, driving profitability and operational excellence.
- Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts to aid business planning and decision-making, incorporating market trends, industry benchmarks, and internal performance metrics.
- Evaluate and mitigate financial risks linked to the hardware sector's distribution activities, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing risk management strategies.
- Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and supply chain, to synchronize financial plans and objectives with operational activities and strategic initiatives.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function, adopting best practices, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies, maintaining a robust control environment and upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, particularly within global aerospace distribution or related industries.
- A strong grasp of hardware sector dynamics, including market trends, competitive landscape, and supply chain complexities.
- A proven history of strategic financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling, with the capability to convert complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial management systems; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with a history of driving results, leading change, and building high-performing teams.
- A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in financial analysis and reporting.
