About the Role

The Nursing Home Administrator will be a strategic driver of business excellence, staff excellence, clinical excellence, and customer excellence at our nursing center. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring nursing center financial reports and implementing corrective action as required.
  • Leading, guiding, and directing the nursing center department heads who are direct reports.
  • Promoting and representing the nursing center in the community to ensure favorable public relations.
  • Creating an environment where employees are highly engaged, abide by the Genesis core values, and are focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to patients/residents.
  • Ensuring regulatory and policy compliance within the nursing center.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A license according to state regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of administrative management techniques, supervisory practices, procedures, and principles.
  • Working knowledge of all government regulations impacting Nursing Centers.
  • On-call availability.
