Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs
  • Offer comfort care and other assistance to patients
  • Transfer patients safely and efficiently
  • Take vital signs and maintain accurate recordkeeping
  • Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Requirements
  • Completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program
  • 6 months of nursing assistant experience
  • Successful completion of an EH provided Nursing Assistant training within one month of hire
  • Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program
  • Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry
  • BLS certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date
Work Environment

This role is based in Building B at St Marys Medical Center, with a shift rotation that includes day, evening, and night shifts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
