Career Opportunity for Occupational Medicine Specialist

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is seeking a talented Medical Director of Occupational Health to lead our Occupational Medicine practice. As a seasoned professional, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality care to patients and support the growth of our practice.

The successful candidate will have a strong medical background in Occupational Medicine, with expertise in comprehensive pre-employment and periodic health assessments, as well as clinical skills and problem-solving abilities related to workplace exposures and injuries. You should also be familiar with OSHA health and safety regulations.

You will work closely with local industries to provide the highest level of service and demonstrate motivation to stay up-to-date on the evolving scope and practice of Occupational Medicine.

Estimated Salary: $275,000 - $325,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Current, unrestricted license in Idaho
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Occupational Medicine residency program
  • Board certified or obtain certification within 12 months of employment
  • Registration with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy, Idaho Board of Pharmacy & DEA
  • Medical Review Officer certification desirable
  • Experience and knowledge of Idaho Workers Compensation regulations strongly desired
