As an Occupational Therapist with HexaQuEST Global - Healthcare, you will provide high-quality, full-time outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy care to patients of all ages and diagnoses within the State of Alaska's occupational therapy scope of practice.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy and be licensed in good standing in Alaska as an OT or have a good-standing license in another state and awaiting licensure in Alaska. Additionally, they must hold a current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Key responsibilities will include treating patients with a range of conditions, incorporating evidenced-based medicine into patient plans of care, and exemplifying professional conduct, patient care ethics, and respect for cultural diversity when rendering patient care. The successful candidate will also be able to read, analyze, and interpret occupational therapy periodicals and medical literature, compose patient care documentation and medical correspondence, and communicate effectively with medical staff, peers, and administrative personnel.

**Equipment and Tools:**

  • Office equipment (i.e. computer, telephone, fax machine, copy machine)
  • Therapeutic exercise equipment, ultrasound, and electric stimulation modalities
  • ADL training room (includes bathroom and kitchen)

**Working Conditions:**

The Occupational Therapist will work in a standard Occupational Therapy Department environment, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret occupational therapy periodicals and medical literature, compose patient care documentation and medical correspondence, and communicate effectively with medical staff, peers, and administrative personnel.
