We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Substitute Nurse. As a Substitute Nurse, you will provide high-quality healthcare services to students and staff, ensuring their health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing services, including case management, to students with medical conditions and disabilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and agencies to coordinate healthcare services.
- Conduct health assessments and physical examinations in accordance with community college health mandates.
- Administer immunizations according to medical protocols and safe and appropriate guidelines.
- Provide initial mental health assessment, intake, crisis screening, and intervention.
- Evaluate and document the progress of individual care plans and therapeutic programs.
- Requires an Associate's degree in nursing plus two years of successful nursing experience in a public health, urgent care clinic, school, or hospital setting.
- Valid California Registered Nurse License.
- Valid Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certificate.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Nursing experience in a community or college/university health setting.
- Public Health Nurse (PHN) Certificate.
