Key Responsibilities- Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service, adhering to common courtesies and delivering the brand promise with every interaction.
- Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions, adhering to all required policies and procedures.
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to, and the operational integrity of the office is maintained.
- Support the sales process in the branch by identifying customer needs, promoting current offers, and referring customers to other colleagues for assistance with financial solutions.
- Perform all teller duties needed by the branch, including balancing and proving cash daily to maintain accurate transactions processed and record keeping.
- Learn the bank's products and services to retain and enhance customer account relationships, identify opportunities to resolve customer needs, and refer customers to Bank colleagues who can help meet their needs.
- Assist in coordinating the teller operations, providing guidance and direction to maintain quality customer service, and related activities including training, cash audits, check approval, scheduling, buying/selling cash with the Wholesale Vault department and Tellers, monitoring teller cash balances, and assists with cash recounts.
- Act as a backup to the Teller Supervisor, where applicable.
- Provide customer service/servicing to all customers, consistently exceeding expectations in every interaction.
- Support and service fellow colleagues within and outside of the banking office by adhering to the company's vision and values.
- Protect the Bank's financial interests by complying with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Perform office duties, including maintaining office supplies and providing a professional, organized environment.
- Service the ATM machines, safe deposit area, vault, and night drop, as assigned.
- High School or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-4 years Teller (or equivalent cash handling) with strong customer service and operations skills.
- Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive self, if applicable by start date.
