Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hastings Senior Health & Living, a 5-star rated, award-winning campus. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our beautiful campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
  • Follow scheduled maintenance program.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
  • Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job-related instructions.
  • Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
  • Perform lawn care and landscaping duties; remove snow and ice from walkways.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and/or floor care preferred.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.
  • Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
