Position Overview
This role is a full-time, on-site position for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Primary Care at Westbank Medical & Walk-In Clinic. The selected candidate will be tasked with delivering exceptional primary healthcare services, performing patient evaluations, diagnosing medical conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family or Adult-Gerontology.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP).
- Experience in a primary care environment is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented healthcare setting.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Work Schedule
• Monday to Friday
• 8 am to 3 pm
• No weekends
• No holidays
