Senior Water Resources Engineer

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in El Paso, TX. As a key member of our Water Resources group, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight and guidance to design staff and team members on various water resources projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical oversight of design staff and team members for water resources projects, including floodplain modeling and mapping studies, LOMRs/CLOMRs, municipal water resources projects, and transportation drainage design.
- Identify new business opportunities for AECOM and coordinate project presentations to clients and external groups.
- Participate in project opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and preparation of AECOM's qualification/experience statements.
- Coordinate and participate in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
- Direct project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitor subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments.
- Prepare project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate these to project team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Texas Professional Engineering (PE) license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Three (3) or more years performing project management and/or business development.
- Working relationship with southwest clients and market.
