Position Overview:

We are seeking a Pediatric Communication Specialist who will play a vital role in helping children improve their communication abilities through interactive activities and everyday experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for new clients
  • Create tailored treatment plans for individual needs
  • Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to regulations
  • Engage in ongoing education and team discussions
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment while supporting outreach efforts

Licensure & Certification Requirements:

  • Licensure from the Minnesota Department of Health
  • Certification from ASHA
  • CPR and First Aid Certification

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication and independent working abilities
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a service-oriented mindset
  • Experience with pediatric populations

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform light physical work involving interaction with children

Employment Status:

  • Reports to Clinical Manager
  • Availability for evening hours may be required
